Our journey born from real experiences
Kaswear Cares emerged from profound personal experiences, both challenging and inspiring. As the parent of a nonverbal autistic child, our founder intimately understands the obstacles families face when seeking support, acceptance, and inclusive opportunities. The tragic loss of a loved one while incarcerated further underscored the vital importance of compassion, community, and unwavering support during life's toughest moments.
These experiences are the cornerstone of our mission. They serve as a daily reminder that kindness and inclusion are paramount, and no one should navigate life's difficulties in isolation. What truly drives our team is the firm belief that even the smallest acts of service can ignite powerful and lasting change within our community.
Making a difference, one family at a time
What began as simple neighborhood gatherings has flourished into a powerful movement dedicated to uniting people and ensuring families receive the support they need. One of our proudest achievements is creating autism-inclusive events, providing spaces where children often overlooked can truly thrive, and families can connect with others who understand their unique journeys. Seeing children smile, forge friendships, and feel included is a constant affirmation of the importance of our work.
Looking ahead, our ambition is to transform Kaswear Cares into a year-round community resource hub. We envision expanding our offerings to include more events, emergency assistance, youth programs, comprehensive family support services, and partnerships that create a lasting positive impact. Our dream is to build a stronger community where no family feels isolated, and where today’s recipients can become tomorrow’s helpers through our innovative Revolving Door of Giving™ philosophy.
